Join the celebration!!! this is the 25th women’s dance held at the Community hall
The first one was in October 2011! the first 6 I did with Sheila Norgate and crew.
Since then the”crew”  and I have held 3 dances a year!

the Crew!!  (could not … would not do it without them)
to name a few:
Kimm Nightingale – shares the dance teaching with me, picking the music, helps with set-up, take down plus reminds me to do things I would likely forget!! like the liquor license!:)
Penelope P. Bahr: is that friendly face at the bar
Martie Robinson: does the beautiful flowers
Joke Mensink: helps with set up, take down AND she washes the floor at the end!! I love her!!!
Cath Fox: sells the 50/50 tickets and isn’t she fun!!
Regina Lorek: does a great job hanging the lights around the hall
Kit, Brin, Brendalee & others: have been the greeters/ticket sellers at the door
Maxx Duncalfe: also helps with set up, take down and picking the music
Lee Ker: also helps with set up and take down
And there’s Bev, Leigh, Colleen, Gloria, Deb T. & S., Sammy, Catherine and many others who have helped over the years – You have all made these dances possible!! we now have women regularly coming from Nanaimo, Victoria, Ladysmith, Courtenay, and even Vancouver!!! In total we have had 1181 women dance through the doors … Thank you all!!!
