Squared – the Art Show

to be squared with this fun challenge.

the challenge:
everyone working on 12×12 inch canvases

112 canvases – over 90 artists
including 10 artists under 18 years old – see list below

all the canvases will sell for the same
price: $275/youth $85

Location: A&H Hall – 476 South Road, Gabriola
Dates: February 26th, 27th & 28th 2021
Times: Friday 4-8:pm – the show will go live on-line at 4:00
we will also be taking telephone sales 250-668-2166 (this is my cell – do not call my home number – I will not be there)
Please be patient with us  – we’re expecting it to be a zoo for the first 2 hours!
Saturday 10- 4:00 and Sunday 11- 3:00
please call Gwen at 250-247-9756 to book your viewing time – groups of 6 people – each group has half an hour.

Strict Covid19 protocols will be in place:

 As we get closer I will add more details and may change how it’s going to work depending on what restrictions are in place.

• sadly, no Grand opening … with 200 to 300 hundred people all trying to purchase that special piece – it’s just not going to happen … this year!!!
• We will go live on line Friday, February 26th at 4:00pm
• we are now booking viewing times of groups of 6 people – each group has half an hour
• if you have purchased on-line you will be able to pick up your new piece on Sunday between noon and 3:00
• please be patient with us!! we will be making it up as we go – thanks

On The Saturday:
– give your name at the back door  – one bubble at a time
– each group will have 30 minutes
– masks will be mandatory in the hall
– you must hand sanitize before entering
– leave by the front door

2016 – Go! Shaw TV – the segment on the Stretch Show is at 5:40 minutes

we have every kind of medium this year: including fabric, metal, blown glass, mosaic, acrylic, water colour, oil, pa-ta-ti, encaustic, mixed media & more … it’s going to be a spectacular show!!!

On the Saturday (Feb. 25th), I will be adding a link on my website on the “ART” page  so you can see the whole show – if you can’t make it in person!
